Coffeedog Espresso Cups
These fabulous Latte Mugs and Espresso Cups have been designed and created exclusively for Coffee Dog. ie by Rose of CleverCow Ceramics.
Each individual piece is made by hand from stoneware clay which has been rolled out to a slab, much like pastry for a pie, then a template laid on the clay, cut out, real coffee beans are used to
impress the design and rubber letter stamps for the wording. Then underglazes are used to paint the detail, layering up the colours. Once dry, the pieces are bisque fired to 1000c.
Once out of the first firing, they are lightly sanded to smooth any edges and the rim, then they are dipped in a crystal clear glaze, returned to the kiln to be vitrified to 1250c. it takes
14hours to get to this temperature and a good 30hours to cool. Yep, it IS dishwasher safe.
Now, your mug/cup is ready for its contents - Coffee Dog coffee of course
